IFP APPROVES FORT FINANCIAL PLANNING LTD AS ONE OF THE FIRST 25 FIRMS TO BECOME AN ACCREDITED FINANCIAL PLANNING FIRMTM
Fort Financial Planning Ltd is delighted to announce that it has been approved by The Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) as an Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM. IFP is the professional body for Financial Planners in the UK. It awards this title only to firms which it has assessed as demonstrating the highest professional standards of Financial Planning service and advice to its clients.
To successfully meet the criteria for approval, Fort Financial Planning Ltd. has had to demonstrate that it provides a comprehensive Financial Planning service for clients as well having as a clear cost or fee structure. The firm also had to demonstrate commitment to the IFP’s Code of Ethics and Practice Standards as well as having appropriately trained and qualified staff. All client facing advisers must have been tested on their Financial Planning skills at an advanced level, and at least 50% of registered advisers must be qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM professional, or equivalent. Very few Financial Planning firms in the UK meet these exacting standards.
