We are looking for someone to join our team who wants to understand and learn all elements of our financial planning process with the ambition of becoming a Financial Planner. If you enjoy problem solving, thinking outside the box and finding solutions to a whole host of challenges and questions then you'll fit right in!
What is involved?
You will join our team as an Administrator. In this role you with learn the foundation of how our office is run and play a key role in the Easy Implementation Process. You will be dealing with clients and providers to implement the recommendations given by the Financial Planner. This will include managing investment portfolios, setting up life policies and making the implementation process as easy and stress free as possible for our clients.
Once you have an understanding of the Administrator’s role, you will move into a Paraplanner role. Our Paraplanning team drives the financial planning process and the role involves cash flow modelling, product and investment analysis, report writing and much more. Our Paraplanners are also involved in the client meetings so they get a full picture of the client’s situation and can deliver a truly personal service.
In the Paraplanner role you will learn all the technical skills you need to become a Financial Planner. To be an effective Financial Planner we will develop your communication and coaching skills so you can take client meetings and become a team leader in the financial planning process.
This is more than your normal apprenticeship scheme. You will experience all the roles at Fort Financial Planning to get a comprehensive picture of our financial planning process. In addition to our inhouse training and shadowing, FFP will pay for all study material and examinations for you to get a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. As an accredited financial planning firm we also encourage our Financial Planners to gain advance qualifications to become Certified and Chartered.
