David
Associate Financial Planner
David joined Fort Financial Planning in September 2026, having made the decision to move into financial planning following a successful career in the motorcycle industry.
He has spent over 10 years in commercial, management, and leadership roles, working with businesses and individuals across the UK. His experience has been strongly relationship focused, and it was this, combined with a long-held interest in personal finance, taxation and investing, that led him towards a career as a Financial Planner.
David completed the Chartered Insurance Institute Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning before joining FFP, and holds the ambition of reaching chartered status.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, going to the gym, and getting outdoors, and has a keen interest in motorcycles, cars, and mechanical watches. He can often be found getting stuck into a restoration or DIY project, usually involving something that needs fixing, rebuilding, or bringing back to life.
